WTO will regulate global e-commerce

The World Trade Organization (WTO) plans to develop uniform standards and rules in the global e-commerce market. On this occasion, representatives of 75 countries will take part in the talks, including the EU countries, the USA, China, and Japan. This decision was made at the World Economic Forum in Davos, reports Bloomberg.

It is not yet known exactly what the agreement will be. But it is already clear to representatives of the states that it is no longer possible to ignore a market whose size is $ 25 trillion. In addition, the size of the market is rapidly increasing every year. Naturally, it will be about creating rules that will become common to all countries.

Cecilia Malmstrom, a member of the European Commission on Trade, said that WTO representatives would take on such a difficult task as regulating global e-commerce in the near future.

 

Xiaomi captures global e-commerce market

Representatives of the company Xiaomi announced the launch of ShareSave. This is a new international mobile platform for online commerce. But in the beginning, only the people of India will be able to use it.

 

With the help of the ShareSave platform, users who do not live in China will also be able to purchase ecosystem products that only the Chinese could previously buy.

A variety of products are available on the platform, which were created by ecosystem companies Xiaomi. Among the goods: hardware, smartphones and others.

The service will be able to provide comprehensive support to its customers. For example, at ShareSave there will be an after-sales service function, shipping goods to the user's home. Of course, in the application will be available promotions and discounts.

The application is in Google Play, users from India can already download it. It is planned that in the future the service will be available in other countries.

An annual survey by Brand Finance, a consulting firm, suggests that representatives and companies from the United States continue to lead the ranking of the most expensive brands in the world.

The top three are Amazon, Apple and Google. In fourth place is another US representative - Microsoft. She managed to climb this position from 6th place.

Thus, on the 5th place was the South Korean company Samsung. This is the only brand in the Top 20, whose value has decreased during the year.
